Global Peace Film Festival Joins the Conduit’s Advocacy Program.
We are thrilled to announce that the Global Peace Film Festival has been recognized as the inaugural organization to join The Conduit’s advocacy program.
About The Conduit
The Conduit is an interdisciplinary society made up of individuals and companies who believe their lives and work get better when they come alongside each other, and a firm believer in the power of community and collaboration. We understand that sustainable solutions to social and environmental challenges can only be achieved when people have a safe and reliable space to share, discuss, and implement their ideas. To this end, we are committed to supporting ventures and groups that are dedicated to addressing one of the 17 United Nations Sustainability Goals (UNSDGs) by providing them with a dependable platform to convene their communities and execute solutions.
Program Policy
The Conduit has a distinctive policy of admitting only one venture or group per UNSDG area. Upon acceptance, participants are granted access to a wide range of benefits for a period of 12 months. At the end of this period, The Conduit reserves the right to extend the participation of the venture or group in the program for an additional 12-month period.
Program Qualifications
- The mission of the venture or group must align with one of the 17 UNSDGs.
- The venture or group must be based in Central Florida.
- All meetings, workshops, and events held at The Conduit must be free and open to the public.
- The venture or group must sign and abide by The Conduit’s standard membership and event hosting agreement.
- The venture or group must provide The Conduit with proof of a minimum of 1 million general liability insurance policy, with The Conduit named as an additional insured (AI) on the insurance certificate.
